UNIVERSAL TRANSIT TEXT MESSAGING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Universal Transit Text Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 02/10/2025

Universal Transit CORP ("Universal Transit") provides recurring text messaging services, including occasional one-time or limited-duration messaging programs, which may feature promotional offers and service notifications. These Text Messaging Terms and Conditions ("Text Terms") outline the rules governing these programs unless additional terms apply.

By opting into our text messaging services, you agree to comply with these Text Terms, along with the Universal Transit Terms of Service, which are integrated into this agreement. These terms outline our rights, establish user indemnities, limit liability, and set the guidelines for communication. Additionally, per our Terms of Service, any disputes arising from these Text Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by the National Arbitration Mediation ("NAM") under its applicable rules. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and manage your data. In case of any discrepancy between these Text Terms and other Universal Transit policies, these Text Terms shall govern our text messaging programs.

By subscribing to our text messaging services, you consent to receive recurring communications from Universal Transit, including updates, promotions, and service-related messages. Messages may be transmitted via SMS, MMS, or RCS formats, and their frequency may vary. Universal Transit reserves the right to modify the number of messages sent at any time. Messages may be generated using an automated dialing system or pre-recorded voice messaging. Your consent is not a prerequisite for purchasing any goods or services. Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

To subscribe to Universal Transit’s messaging services, follow the provided instructions, which may include sending a specific keyword to a designated phone number or short code, submitting your phone number on our website, or other consent mechanisms. You may be required to confirm your opt-in by replying "Y" or another designated response to an initial message. Participants must be the mobile account holder and at least 18 years old. To stop receiving messages from a Universal Transit messaging service, text STOP to the corresponding phone number or short code from which you are receiving messages. A confirmation message will be sent to acknowledge your opt-out request.

For additional support or information, reply HELP to the number from which you received our messages. If you change your mobile phone number, please notify Universal Transit by contacting privacy@universaltransit.com or 929-500-0205. Some mobile carriers may not support certain messaging features. Check with your provider to verify availability. Universal Transit and participating mobile carriers are not liable for message delivery delays, failures, or errors. For instance, T-Mobile is not responsible for undelivered or delayed messages. Message services may not be available in all locations or on all mobile devices.

Universal Transit reserves the right to modify these Text Terms at any time. Any updates will become effective once published on the Universal Transit website. You are encouraged to review these Text Terms periodically to stay informed about any changes. Continued participation in our messaging services signifies acceptance of any revisions. We may also notify you of changes through additional methods, such as sending a text message to the number associated with your subscription.
